AIM:To discuss the effect of the cataract peri-operative nursing care of government’s special care for poor patients. METHODS:Preoperative and postoperative nursing points of 138 cases poor patients cataract surgery were summarized. RESULTS:Strict preoperative and postoperative care and operating rules,close observation of the patient’s surgery eye and general condition, and good psychological care of patients were conducive to the prognosis of disease. CONCLUSION:Most poor cataract patients are older and associated with other systemic diseases,the improvement of their visual acuity are not entirely satisfing.They should be given intensive care.
