Transfer  of single dose of intravitreal injection of ranibizumab and bevacizumab into  milk of sheep

【推荐理由】该文首次对近年来普遍使用的雷珠单抗和贝伐单抗通过哺乳期母羊分泌的乳汁及幼羊血液的药物浓度进行研究，结果表明在哺乳期间内注射的雷珠单抗并没有转移到母羊的乳汁和幼羊的血液，而贝伐单抗在母羊乳汁及血液以及幼羊血液中均可检测到。
【Recommended Reason】This is the first study to investigate whether ranibizumab and bevacizumab,  which are used commonly in recent years, transfer into the milk and blood of  lactating sheep and blood of suckling lambs. This sheep model study  demonstrated that intravitreal injection of ranibizumab, which did not  transfer into the milk of sheep and suckling lambs, was safer than  bevacizumab which concentrations were high in the blood and milk of sheep and  the serum of suckling lambs during lactation period.

【Recommended Reason】 Oxidative stress has been widely studies in the mechanisms of degenerative  diseases. This paper presents the relative role of oxidative stress in  regulating the functional expression of P-glycoprotein in mitochondria of  D407 cells, which will improve the effect of mitochondria-targeted  antioxidant therapy in age-related  macular degeneration-like retinopathy.

【推荐理由】氧化应激已广泛应用于退行性疾病的研究，文章呈现了氧化应激对D407细胞线粒体P糖蛋白功能的调节，这将提高针对于线粒体的抗氧化治疗在年龄相关性黄斑病变类视网膜病的疗效。

【Recommended Reason】This work highlights the use of cumulative sum analysis score (CUSUM)  as an objective tool for measuring phacoemulsification proficiency. The  authors have used this formula to construct the learning curve of  phacoemulsification competency in our residency program, detecting trends of  unacceptable performances. The authors also present for the first time the  average number of phacoemulsification for residents to become competent in an  acceptable rate of the two major complications related to surgery success  (posterior capsule rupture and best corrected visual acuity) based on this  objective analysis.

【Recommended Reason】Compared with the previous meta-analysis, this systematic review and  meta-analysis added the latest randomized clinical trials, and then focused  on the efficacy and safety of ranibizumab and laser for the patients with  visual loss due to diabetic macular edema. Moreover, due to any ocular  adverse events, especially conjunctival hemorrhage, the statistical  differences were denied or not mentioned between two treatment groups because  of limitations of statistical data in the previous meta-analysis.

【推荐理由】较之前的Meta分析，该文增添了最新的随机对照临床研究，并致力于雷珠单抗和激光对治疗糖尿病性视力丢失的疗效和安全性。同时，该Meta分析纳入了两治疗组间的眼部副作用的差异，特别是结膜下出血。

【Recommended Reason】The study evaluated the annual eye examination rate in diabetes  patients from an urban community health service center of Beijing and found  that having attended patient education on diabetes was effective in building  awareness about diabetic eye disease。

【推荐理由】该研究评估了来自北京城市社区卫生服务中心的糖尿病患者参加年度眼病筛查的相关情况，结果发现糖尿病患者参与筛查的比例与本身的受教育情况及其对糖尿病眼病的了解与重视程度显著相关。

【Recommended Reason】The previous research showed glaucoma not only affected visual  functions, but also affected ipRGCs. Therefore, the author hypothesizes that  glaucomatous lesions of ipRGCs non-image-forming functions are the possible  mechanisms of the higher incidence of sleep disorders in glaucoma patients.

【推荐理由】之前的研究表明青光眼不仅影响视功能，而且对内在光敏性视网膜神经节细胞（ipRGCs）也有所影响。所以，该假设提出ipRGCs非成像功能的异常可能是青光眼患者高发睡眠障碍的原因。
